Sarah Michelle Gellar wore a stylish black long-length waistcoat over a long white vest and black leggins whilst out and about shopping in NYC earlier this month.

I love her accessories, the white beaded necklace and oversized sunnies but I think she could have done better than wellies i the foot department! Stylish black boots would have looked much better and not like she was off to work on a farm.....

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michelle Trachtenberg once played sisters on their hit show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but now Sarah is a filmstar and wife and Michelle is the newest addition to teen drama Gossip Girl, whose style is better??

Sarah was seen at Starbucks in Beverly Hills last Friday looking cute and casual wearing a little navy dress and leggings with a cropped, quilted leather jacket and a stripey blue scarf. I love her bright red bag which brightens up the whole look, and her big sunglasses which give her that glam factor.

Michelle was spotted on the set of Gossip Girl in New York last Thursday in typical Upper East Side fashion, wearing skinny black jeans, a printed blue and grey blouse and grey stiletto ankle boots.

But whose style do you think was better??

For me, I pick Sarah. Just because when you look at the individual items, the look probably shouldn't work or look particularly good but somehow it still does. And also because I expect Michelle's been styled by the brilliant Gossip Girl wardrobe people so she has an unfair advantage!

Mrs Freddie Prinze Jr aka Sarah Michelle Gellar stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman yesterday looking sexy and sophisticated in a panelled pencil dress, with white skirt and revealing black top.

She also wore a cropped sleeved cream and black coat and patent pointed black courts.

Keeping up on nail varnish trends, Sarah sported cool navy blue nails - like I am right now!

Shakira was looking cool, dressed in rocker chic on her way from Neil George's Salon in Beverly Hills on Friday. That place seems to be awarming with celebs lately!

Shakira wore a white vest top with the phrase "For Those Who Love To Rock" on it - I'm sure she certainly does! She also wore the compulsary rocker ripped jeans, crazy red rimmed sunglasses, and left her hair loose and wild.

An about ready to burst Salma Hayek showed that being very heavily pregnant does not mean forgetting about style whilst out and about last Wednesday wearing this girly pink, chiffon dress and wedges. What a glam mother to be!

Funny lady Sarah Chalke was out of her Scrubs and looking decidedly more stylish, at the InStyle Magazine Summer Soiree on Thursday where she wore this goregous turqouise, halter neck dress and gold peep toes. Turqouise is my favourite colour and it looks perfect with a tan and gold accessories. This look is very fun!

Another Sarah at the same event on Thursday was Sarah Michelle Gellar, who opted for a more sophisticated look. Sarah Michelle wore a lovely black and beige patterned tunic with black heels and chunky bracelets. So many current trends in one! Patterns, tunics and chunky jewellery.

I also love her hair cut off at this length. It really suits her and I think it makes her look younger and fresher. I think she may have overdone the tanning slightly though!
