I cannot wait to see Rachel McAdams and Pierce Brosnan's new movie Married Life, which premeried in New York last Wednesday. I adore Rachel McAdams as an actress and she has a fabulous classic and classy sense of style.

Director Ira Sachs said of the film, "It's the story of a middle-aged man who is married, and who falls in love with another woman, but he's such a gentle figure, so he decides that to divorce his wife would humiliate her too much, so it's better to kill her." Sounds brilliant!!

But anyway back to the red carpet. The major trend was definitely Spring 2008 waist belts.

The film's star Rachel looked sophisticated in a black Alexander Wang Fall 2008 shirt dress with a skinny black waist belt and satin pumps. The gorgeous starlet kept things sleek with a slicked back updo, minimal make-up, clean skin and heavy smokey eye make-up.

New York socialite Olivia Palermo was young and funky in a mustard dress with a wide black waist belt. The rich daddy's girl also wore black tights, patent cream shoes and a black cardigan and accessorised with a black satin clutch and expensive looking diamond earrings. I alos love her centre-parted straight hair.

And finally was model Helena Christensen who wore an off-the-shoulder cream dress, again with a black waist belt to add shape. It looked fab with Helena's tan and I love that she accessorised with bright red pumps!

But whose style is better??

Last week, Nicky Hilton was seen out and about in sunny Beverly Hills looking cute and summery in a cream mini dress and matching Roman sandals with her hair in a wavy centre-parted hippyish style. I love her adorable heart pendant and aviator shades.

The following day, Nicola Roberts was spotted with her boyfriend shopping in London looking like a trendy 60s chick in a white collared navy dress, tights and funky black ankle boots. I love her quilted black chain bag and how she really committed to the 60s vibe with winged eye-liner and her heavy fringed updo.

But whose style did you prefer? Being completely unbiased (I promise even though you won't believe me!) I's have to say Nicola's look is just more stylish. There's more thought gone into it and it's very chic and unique. I like Nicky's too though.

Claudia Schiffer, Kelly Brook and Sophie Ellis-Bextor were all at the Launch of Dom Perignon OEnotheque Vintage 1995 in London on Tuesday.

Who knew Dom Perignon could draw such a stylish crowd?

Claudia's retro blonde waves and red lipstick looked stunning with her grey shift dress and patent black pumps.

I'm not too keen on Kelly Brook's outfit. For a woman who's considered one of the world's sexiest, she sure does dress dowdy a lot! While red is usually a hot colour, the style of this gown is boring and I hate the length; it should be to the floor if it's gonna be ful-length! Plus as an aside, isn't the dress a little see-through?!

My favourite outfit was Sophie Ellis-Bextor's. The singer, who was on this weeks Project Catwalk as the celeb the designers had to dress, had on the most perfect nude pumps. I love them! They are ideal for lenghtening legs, and neutral so they can be worn with any colours.

Sophie kept the rest of her look classic and flirty with a short black skirt and white satin top, brightened up with her red lipstick.

Overall a pretty stylish event!

One Tree Hill cheerleader Sophia Bush, Heroes bad girl Kristen Bell and Heroes cheerleader Hayden Panettiere were all in attendance at the New Year, New Old Navy celebration on Wednesday.

All the starlets had neutral matte skin and bold red lips - do I spot a make-up trend??

Kristen looked great in a structured grey dress with cropped sleeves which she paired with patent black peep toes.

Hayden also wore patent black peep toes with her signature style of a fitted pencil skirt and tucked in blouse. This particular blouse was cream and chiffon with a satin bow on the shoulder and looked very pretty!

But my fav is Sophia who glammed up in a black one shouldered bubble hem dress with cinched in waist and burgandy platform courts.

Her little silver earrings added just enough sparkle!

So I had been wondering what Christina Milian's job is lately, and now I know. She's a professional party goer!!

Last week however she wasn't just party going, she was hosting at the Cielo Garden and Supperclub One Year Anniversary Party at Coconut Grove.

The sometimes singer looked cute in a strapless cream mini dress and represented for The Flinstones with her oversized beaded necklace!

Her make-up was great though especially her blush which made her whole face glow!

Hilary Duff looked heaps better last week in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the Press Conference for her Dignity Tour.

It's great to see Hilary getting her style back on track after making my worst dressed of 2007 list!

She looked absolutely fabulous in skinny cropped black trousers with funky braces hanging down the sides and a striped brown tucked-in vest. The super chic look was topped off with bronze peep toes, gold jewelry, smokey eyeshadow and a causal quiffed updo.

Walking fashion disaster Megan Fox wasn't the only hottie starring in last summer's blockbuster Transformers. Australian actress Rachael Taylor also starred in the film and the stunning actress seems to have a little more class, and thankfully less tattoos than Megan does on the red carpet.

Rachael was at the G'Day USA Australia Week yesterday looking classically stylish in a black lace shift dress.

She wore her blonde hair in a sexy backswept updo and kept her make-up light and glowing with glossy lips and plenty of highlighter.

The only complaint I have is her horrible pointy purple shoes! Bright coloured peep toes would have been so much better!

Mrs Freddie Prinze Jr aka Sarah Michelle Gellar stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman yesterday looking sexy and sophisticated in a panelled pencil dress, with white skirt and revealing black top.

She also wore a cropped sleeved cream and black coat and patent pointed black courts.

I'd only seen a couple of episodes of One Tree Hill in my life until a few weeks ago, until I went crazy on a One Tree Hill marathon! I'm now on Season 3. That's quite sad isn't is?? Oh well!

My favourite character is the fiesty and gorgoeus Brooke, played be the far more stylish Sophia Bush.

Sophia looked beautiful whilst appearing on the CW11 Morning Show yesterday, covered up in a chic and soft looking belted black coat with cropped sleeves.

Her accessories made the entire look; she wore a patterned green scarf and the most perfect nude coloured peep toes (they lengthen your legs better than any other shoes girls!) and brightened it all up with a sexy hot pink clutch.

Her skin looked soft and flawless, her lips were glosss and pink and her eyes bright and defined plus her shoulder length brunette hair was worn in bouncy curls.

The Premiere of the secretive monster movie Cloverfield was held in L.A. last Wednesday and it seems that keeping the plot underwraps for so long hasn't dampened the interest of movie goers or celebs in the film, as it has exceeded box office expectations over it's opening weekend and many young It girls attended the premiere!

Quirky young actress Michelle Trachtenberg struck a fierce pose wearing a high-waisted black and white structured skirt with a black waist belt, a black vest and black opaque tights.

The Hills good girl Lauren Conrad brought some colour to the event in a multi-coloured chiffon Jenny Packman dress. I love the fun flirty look and her simple updo.

Tania Ramonde also looked gorgeous in a classic LBD and black courts. She made the look edgy with a trendy leather jacket, big curly hair and sexy red lips.

Desperados Lindsay Lohan and Heidi Montag couldn't resist making spectacles of themselves at the event with their fake blonde extensions and attention seeking dresses.

Lindsay left little to the imagination in a black skin-tight Herve Leger mini dress whilst Heidi wore a cheap looking bold red dress.

Teenage actress Emily Browning was at the L'Oreal Paris AFI Awards in Melbourne on Sunday looking adorable in a strapless white dress and brown strappy platforms.

Believe it or not Emily is actually 19. She looks sooooo young!

Her updo with side swept fringe and loose tendrils looks so pretty and I love her understated make-up with just a hint of bronzer and gorgeous brown eye shadow.

I actually saw Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events wover the holidays on TV. I was forced into it by my sister but it was actually really cute and funny. I hope this girl has a great future in acting!

Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl was grinning from ear to ear as she showed off new busband Josh Kelley at the L.A. Premiere of 27 Dresses yesterday.

Josh looked a little uncomfortable with all the attention on the red carpet but Katherine was radiant and confident in a grey prom style dress with silver detailing over it from the Bill Blass Spring 2008 Collection. Prom dresses seemed to be the dress code of the evening!

I loved Katherine's Wilma Flinstone beaded necklace and signature quiffed hair plus her matte red lips and gold eye make-up was stunning. She finished up with a pair of patent Jimmy Choo peep toes.

Nice to see someone so happy for a change!

Fabulous Italian fashion designer Valentino recently announced he would be retiring and handing over the keys to his fashion house aged 75 and with 45 years of success under his belt. His final collection was a wonderful way to say goodbye, as vibrant, fresh and creative as ever, and here it is!:

One of the main trends that stood out was dresses with bold oversized belts around the waist. Matching has replaced clashing is the new in thing and Valentino gave all his designs matching bags and shoes.

One shoulder dresses have also been seen all over celebs lately and Valentino is one of the biggest influences for this. His one shoulder dresses were loose and straight and fell above the knee. They were seen in bold colours and looked great with hair swept into updos.

He desplayed many different kinds of skirts from straight skirts with lace edges, shortened pencil skirt with puffed edges or classic floaty numbers. Whatever style you like, there was a matching jacket to do with it!

Leading on from Spring 2007, Valentino brought back all in one playsuits, this time with cropped straight legs. They were seen in a cool nautical colours with classic Valentino bows.

To keep warm in style during the cooler Spring days, Valentino offers a gorgeous range of straight, collarless coats. They came in the pretty sugary pink colour, the bold lemon with a lilac bow and the classy cream with navy diamond print and a waist belt.

Evening dresses came in many styles, but some of my favourites include a strapless polka dot and lace number, a floaty chiffon sky blue dress and a satin ruched dress with bold Valentino bows.

His LBDs were possibly anything but boring! From a satin one shouldered dressw ith full tu-tu style skirt, to a beautiful wrap dress with sheer panel and a strapless black dress with a strong floral print.

On the opposite side of the colour spectrum were the little white dresses. There were off the shoulder and one shoulder numbers with hints of lace, satin bows and waist belts.

Make-up on the runway was worn with pale ksin, subtle brown eyes and sugary pink lips.

Finally were the highly anticipated Valentino gowns!

I guess since the Golden Globes have been cancelled we won't be seeing any of these on the red carpet anytime soon, but maybe for the Oscars!

There was an elegant strapless nude gown with lace skirt and satin panels as well as a slinky white gown with plunging neckline. I also loved the bold yellow strappy gown with over the top ruffles on the skirt.

But the most dramatic and typically Valentino gowns has to be the strapless Valentino Red gown with ruffled fishtail skirt and the sleek black one-shouldered gown with satin ties on the shoulder.

Both gowns were worn with matching clutch bags and intricate updos.

We'll miss you Valentino!

Amy Adams, the star of the fabulous new family movie Enchanted, was at the screening for another of her movies, Charlie Wilson's War in New York last Sunday. The cool actress looked so sophisticated in a black pencil dress with oversized bow detail from the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2008 Collection.

She committed a fashion no-no by matching her glossy fuscia lipstick to her fuscia nail polish. I know you're only supposed to do one or the other, but who cares cos she looks great!

Has anyone beem to see Enchanted yet? I went to see it over the weekend and it was sooooooo great! Loved it! It's the kind of film that kids love but will make adults laugh too with all the sarcasm and the way it makes fun of classic fairy-tails!

Trust me, you'll come out singing "I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss..."!!!!

I'm not always the biggest fan of Transformers star Megan Fox's style, you know she often looks like a hard core biker chick with all the tattoos! However, she looked sleek and classy in her Dolce n Gabbana black pencil dress at the Breakthrough of the Year Awards on Sunday.

Definately a nice change for the better!

Her slicked back ponytail showed off her features perfectly and her make-up was great. Understated and natural but very sexy! Cute leopard print pumps too.

Who's your Style Breakthrough of the Year??

Eva Longoria and Rihanna were both looking amazing at the 2007 Bambi Awards in Duesseldorf, Germany yesterday. We've already seen Katie Holmes looking fantastic in her Monique Lhuillier gown with hubby Tom, but Eva and Rihanna looked just as good.

Eva went for simple, sophisticated glam in a fitted wine coloured, strappless gown which looked absolutely beautiful on her, from the Naeem Khan Autumn 2007 collection. I love her side parted brown curls and gorgeous sparly silver watch (I want one!!) but I think the heavy make-up and huge silver earrings are a little ageing. It's ok though she still looks great!

Rihanna was looking so hot in her low-cut, floor-length leopard print gown by Dolce & Gabbana. She wore it with a pair of fantastic purple shoes (clashing's in you know!) and silver hoop earrings. I'm not keen on her streaky hair colour, but the style's great and her brown eye make-up looks very sexy.
