The most stylish celebs, decked out in their favourite Chanel outfits, showed up last Thursday to celebrate the opening of the new Chanel Boutique on Robertson Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

Which five starlets wore Chanel best though?:

At 5 is actress Malin Akerman who looked fashion forward in a black glittery all in-one suit with a plunging neckline. What a daring look! This could look dated quickly so I'm not sure I like the 70s style Farrah Fawcett flicks with it, but the sleek, silver clutch is lovely.

At 4 is one of my very favourite actresses, the beautiful Rachel Bilson! I love how she's made her new fringe versatile by wearing it pushed to the side and I love, love, love her acid orange clutch.

The frilled shift dress is cute but it drowns Rachel's tiny frame a little.

At 3 is Michelle Trachtenberg, who for some reason unknown to be, Chanel did not want people to know attended the store opening! Apparently they asked photo agencies not to post photos of her at the event, but wisely they ignored those wishes!

Michelle looked chic in a high-waisted, grey knee-length skirt with a classic black vest tucked in and a pretty silver belt to accessorise. I wonder if she'll wear Chanel any more??

Youngster Emma Roberts brought some much needed colour to the event with a stunning, floral print halter-neck maxi dress. The style, the colour, the print........I love it all! And it fits her perfectly. This look is just the right amount of fun and stylish in one and the little gold clutch adds some glam.

And at number 1 is my favourite Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester! She looked elegant and gorgeous in a little black Chanel dress with a fitted bodice, pleated skirt, and exquisite jewelled neckline. Teamed with simple black courts and a sophisticated updo she looks as proper as her character Blair Waldorf, but with a touch of Hollywood dazzle!

Whilst we all wait patiently for the return of Gossip Girl (when we're gonna find out one of the characters is gay, my money's on Chuck!), here is a picture of my favourite star Leighton Meester at the Remember the Daze Hollywood Premiere on Tuesday.

Leighton looked great!

I love the unusual mirrored mini skirt, and the coffee coloured vest is the perfect colour, material and fit for a vest. So cute!

Celebs are looking to the animal world for fashion inspiration with leopard print dresses and tops popping up everywhere!

Jordin Sparks must really love the leopard print style because she wore a gorgeous leopard print shift dress to Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Party yesterday and the day before she wore a more casual leopard print top over cropped jeans to the Verizon Wireless and People Party.

Lisa Rinna also wore leopard print to the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party in the shape of a pencil dress with gold waist-belt and my favourite look of all had to be Leighton Meester who was at the Verizon Wireless and People Party wearing the leopard print in a more girly and flirty style than the other ladies!

So many celebrities showed up for the Verizon Wireless and People Magazine Party in Hollywood on Friday and many looked great in bold colours and prints.

Kelis looked hot in an 80s inspired pink polka dot skirt and sexy black bandeau top - an outfit you need plenty of confidence and a unique sense of personal style to pull offf!

Leighton Meester also opted for prints in her adorable leopard print dress with a tied neckline and red piping, which was matched with her red sandals.

Natasha Bedingfield redeemed herself in my eyes after her recent fashion mishap, in a black and green colour block dress with a sexy halter neck.

And finally 18 year old country singing sensation Taylor Swift looked sweet in a bold purple bubble hem dress teamed with sparkly silver strappies and gorgeous side swept curls.

Also worth a mention for looking half way decent are; Kim Kardashian in a fitted cream Herve Leger dress, Christina Milian in a long black bandeau dress with a revealing cut-out section, Miley Cyrus who looked cute and more age-appropriate than usual in a floaty red and cream sequined dress and finally Fergie who bucked the dress trend and instead opted for a sexy pinstriped suit with slick centre-parted pony tail.

Diamond Information Center and InStyle hosted a Luncheon yesterday attended by tons of really stylish celebs who pulled out all the stops on the pink carpet!

My gold stars for best dressed go to Sarah Jane Morris (left), Leighton Meester (middle) and Minka Kelly (right).

Sarah wore a sexy grey pencil dress jazzed up just enough with patent red peep toes and a patent red skinny waist belt.

Gossip Girl Leighton was my personal favourite of the night in a flirty and youthful black dress with white star print. The short floaty number fitted her great and had one shoulder strap - very on trend! I also loved her funky shoes and grey clutch. Her hair looks fantastic cut shorter and curled, and if you look closely her make-up looks really fresh and lovely. Wow I can't gush enough!

And Minka also looked really hot in a white pocketed shift and red patent peep toes, especially with her loose updo and smokey eyes!

Silver stars go to Anna Friel (left), Angie Harmon (middle) and Kristen Bell (right).

British actres Anna looked like an old Hollywood starlet in a black satin pencil skirt, red patent shoes and waist belt, and a daring chiffon polka dot top with sheer back.

Angie Harmon looked sophisticated in a black off-the-shoulder number from Christian Dior by John Galliano Fall 2007, with beautiful Japanese inspired embrodiery matched well with her gold clutch and black jewelled heels. Luckily she kept her hair and make-up simple or it could have been too much.

And Heroes actress Kristen Bell was gorgeous in one of the Jay Godfrey Spring 2008 dresses featured in our exclusive interview with him! The strapless Jackson Pollack scratch print party dress is one of Jay's personal favs! It looked great on Kristen who wore it with just black peep toes and a big smile!

And the bronze stars for best dressed go to Jennifer Love Hewitt (left), Perrey Reeves (middle) and Jennifer Morrison (right).

Jennifer Love Hewitt carried on the pretty, girly look she's been fond of lately with a soft grey shift with a full floaty skirt. I like it especially with her silver glittery shoes but to rank higher on my best dressed list she should try changing things up a bit.

I like Perrey's cream and black dress from the waist down; the bow around the waist and the skirt are lovely, but I'm not fond of the top which looks very ill-fitting. What swung it for me though was her adorable little structured bag!

And finally Jennifer Morrison wore a gorgeous outfit of grey flared skirt with oversized pockets and tucked in cream shirt with oversized sleeves. The silhouette is stunning, as are the individual items but a splash of colour in her shoes or bag would have brightened things up no end.

Ahhhhh! If only you knew how long I've been searching for the perfect pair of cable knit tights! I have thick woollen ones, black opaques, even ribbed tights...but the cable knits are so hard to find (within my budget)!

They are so country chic, and oh soooo Blair Waldorf (aka Leighton Meester) of Gossip Girls Upper East Side.

You just know she'd love Maria Menounos's black cable knit tights and patent shoe boots worn back stage at the Clash of the Choirs in NYC on Sunday.

Though unlike uptight, buttoned up Blair, Maria chose a bold red Mod style dress to complete the look.

Next time, leave the tacky sparkly gold hoops at home! Otherwise, fab outfit!

Silver and gold metallic dresses and tops are being sported by all the trendiest celebs at the moment, and is definately a look you should adopt for all those fab parties and nights out over Christmas and New Year!

Finally, if you don't wanna wear a dress but still wanna do the metallic trend, check out Heidi Klum (middle) at the Inside Project Runway event in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. The supermodel wore a silver sequined vest top with skinny jeans and patent black courts and threw a black tailored blazer and skinny neck scarf over the top for a hip fashionista look. I'm looking for a blazer just like this! It has such a perfect fit and I love the rolled up sleeves fora casual edge.

So get out and shine in metallics!

Hollywood beauties dazzled in NYC last night for the New York City Ballet Opening Night Gala in some gorgeous floor length gowns. My favourites were (L-R) Leighton Meester, Nicole Fiscella and Lake Bell.

Gossip Girl Leighton chose a black, off the shoulder gown, with a layered, chiffon skirt and train. She carried an exquisite beaded purse and had loads of long extensions added onto her chocolate hair. Do you prefer Leighton's hair long or mid-length??

Leighton's co-star Nicole Fiscella also wore black, but her gown was a very stylish one-shouldered assymetric style with a metallic finish and pleated skirt. She looked gorgeous with her hair pulled back and sparkly silver earrings, but she could do with a new make-up artist to get that skin glowing!

Actress Lake Bell stood out in her sexy, red halter neck gown with subtle, sheer panels on the sides and a simple black clutch. Her make-up was natural but her eyes sparkled, and I love how the front tendrils of her hair fall loosely around her face.

Anne wore a simple, black Chanel gown with a fitted bodice and sleek, straight skirt. I also love her big diamond earrings!

Model Helena posed with one of the New York City Ballet's principle dancers, Nikolaj Hubbe, in her long black skirt and casual green top. Helena's looking mighty cosy with Nikolaj considering the rumours I heard about her and recently seperated Heath Ledger!

Whose dress do you like??

If you need anything this winter, it's a statement coat! It'll keep you warm and keep you fabulous. The Girls of Gossip Girl show us all how to do winter time chic with their various coats, whilst filming on location on 51st street in New York City.

My favourite, the stunning Leighton Meester, who plays the feisty Blair on the hit show, went for dishevelled, chic with her loose grey tweed coat with oversized collar and a tie around the waist. Worn open over a loose muted purple dress, a purple knitted scarf, black tights and slouchy black boots, Leighton looked casually sophisticated. Team Blair!!

Nicole Fiscella's role on the show is that of a supporting character, but the actresses' style deserves centre stage! She opted for classic black in this cosy looking padded mac with gold buttons and a belt. She kept her outfit casual with black jeans tucked into black biker boots and a warm white jumper, but added a bit of glam by matching the gold buttons on her coat to a chunky gold head band which held back her masses of beautiful curls.

Finally is the star of the show, Blake Lively aka Serena in a tailored, double breasted, green woollen coat. Teamed with black jeans and round toe black boots, Blake looked steamlined and cute.

But not half as cute as her adorable little pup, who is also styled to perfection with a tiny little knitted scalf! All together now, awwwwwwww!

There's a new teenage angst drama on our tv to replace the void that Dawson's Creek and The OC have left for many of us........CW's Gossip Girl. Based on the lives of a group of rich teens in New York's Upper East Side, we're only two episode's in and I already love it! As expected, the spoiled characters on the show all have fabulous wardrobes, but how does their style measure up in real life?

Here are the young female stars of Gossip Girl at the show's premier party earlier this month.

From left to right we have Jessica Szohr who plays the as yet unseen Vanessa Abrams, looking a little more casual than the other girls in a loose brown patterned tunic and natural make-up.

Next is Nan Zhang who plays one of Blair Walforf's bitchy army, Kati Farkas, in a slightly prom like turquoise dress. The colour is gorgeous on her but I don't like the style.

Next to her is Leighton Meester who plays one of the two lead female roles, that of super bitchy Blair Waldorf, steeling the show in her silver and black zig zagged mini dress and pinned up hair.

Next to Leighton is the other lead female, Blake Lively, who plays Blair's ex BFF and arch rival, Serena van der Woodsen, looking sophisticated and cool in her fitted white shirt, skinny black trousers and black blazer. With those big blonde curls she definalty adds some glam to this simple look.

Next is the youngest lady, 14 year old Taylor Momsen, who plays wannabe Jenny Humphrey on the show. She certainly stood out in this hideously OTT pink dress. And that's all I can really say about that!

Finally is Nicole Fiscella who plays Blair's other loyal deputy, Isabel Coates, looking great in a sparkly gold dress and carrying an adorable clutch bag.

Leighton, Blake, Nicole and Taylor were all in attendance at The CW Upfront looking lovely in their dresses.

Leighton wore a slightly unflattering sack like, cream dress but at least it was cinched in at the waist to give her some shape and her gold shoes were cute. Blake looked gorgeous in a fitted, white pencil dress with a skinny black waist belt. Nicole looked the best IMO in this season's purple. The colour and style of the dress suited her perfectly. Finally Taylor once again tried too hard in a strange candy like pink dress which for some reason she teamed with canary yellow shoes, not impressed.

Now let's take a closer look at the styles of the three main girls, Leighton, Blake and Taylor.

First we have my personal fav (as far as her bad girl character, and her own personal style) Leighton Meester, at David Yurman's Summer Cocktail Party in August looking so fresh and beautiful in a white shift dress and flat black pumps. Her skin is radiant and she looks gorgeous. I love the simplicity of this black and white outfit.

Next we have Leighton at the Philosophy Di Alberta Ferritti show at Mercedes-Benz fashion week a couple of weeks ago looking pretty and stylish in a sky blue shirt dress with navy blue tie around the waist and strappy black shoes. Her hair looks so beautiful curled like this and the colour is great on her.

Next is the tall and gorgeous Blake Lively, who seems to love simple cuts and styles. Here she is at the premier of Rocket Science in New York in August, once again wearing a white shirt and skinny black trousers. This time the shirt was loose, casual and tucked in and she accessorised with a patent black belt and funky red and black shoes.

Next is Blake looking absolutely lovely at the Industry Screening of Accepted also in August. She wore an amazing shirt dress with a black waist belt and black round toe courts. Her hair was also tied back for a change which I think was perfect for showing off her dress (which I want!!).

Last is youngster Taylor Momsen, redeaming herself in the style stakes with this gorgeous, v-neck black dress that she wore to the Brown and White Ball in NYC recently. Her hair looks great all layered and messy and I love her brown sandals.

Next is a pic of Taylor at New York Fashion Week this month looking like a mini Mischa Barton (that's a compliment!) in this cream bandeau dress with black band around the bust and fabulous black shoes! Her hair was in glamorous curls and she already knows how to pose lol.

Finally we have Blake, Taylor and Leighton (my fav!! lol) at the CW's All-Star Celebration Party in July. They certainly are all stars now and they're (mostly) dressing the part. They all looked great and summery in their lemon and lime colours.

Blake wore a one shouler, assymetrical, yellow dress with black strappy sandals. Taylor looked very trendy in the summer's jumpsuit which she wore in green and teamed with brown sandals. And finally Leighton looked beautiful in her strappy green dress with green ribbon around the waist teamed with strappy silver sandals and a simple green pendant necklace.
