Us Weekly Magazine held their Hot Hollywood Hottest Style Makers Party in Hollywood last week, and the fun event was attended by a host of stylish yound stars.

Another colour trend at the event was purple and lilac hues as seen on Sanaa Lathan, Heidi Klum, and the Us Weekly carpet!

Sanaa looked very stylish in a purple and cream print ruffled dress but ruined it a little with some odd looking, clumpy grey shoes.

Heidi kept things simple in a strapless purple mini with a sweetheart neckline worn wth crocodile print peep toes. She looked ok but I don't like red nail varnish with a purple dress and the dress made her figure look really boyish. Maybe she needs some kind of a waist belt to give her shape??

The other big colour of the night was green.

Rapper Eve was looking funky in a lime green satin Jay Godfrey Spring 2008 dress with a cool zip down front and piping detail. I love this dress, and teamed with black courts and a blakc clutch it looked sophisticated but fun.

Also in green was Jenna Dewan, who looked pretty in an apple green shift dress, with a little embroidered clutch bag and delicate silver strappy shoes.

If you're not such a huge fan of colour, or you want to look uber sophisticated, neutral colours are very much "in" right now.

The Lipstick Jungle actress Lindsay Price looked classy in a gold satin bubble hem skirt with a cream ruffled blouse and nude peep toes.

Rob Kardashian's girlfriend, Adrienne Bailon of The Cheetah Girls, looked stunning and very hot in a short, silver dress which had a fitted, high-waisted skirt and a contrasting loose top in a soft, shimmery fabric.

The dress had sparkle, but not too much to look tacky and her gold and turquoise beaded sandals kept things young. She was my best dressed of the event!

Finally, as always, there were certain celebs who played it safe in classic, easy-to-wear, black. But they still looked great!

Christina Milian looked super sexy in a strappy black mini dress with a gold chain neckline. I loved her slicked back hair and smokey eyeshadow, and her black wedges were the perfect spring/summer touch.

Like Lauren Conrad, Jordana Brewster wore a black and white embroidered, cutout dress from the Catherine Malandrino Resort 2007 Collection. The pretty actress teamed her girly dress with black sling backs and a big silver heart pendant.

While BFFs Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth did their grocery shopping in Hollywood last Saturday, fashionista Lauren showed off a popular trend - bright coloured jeans.

LC wore red jeans a plain white v-neck tee and coordinated red framed sunglasses. I love the bold colour!

I'm also liking Lo's stylish orange sandals and it's good to see so many young stars wearing colour these days and not just dull tones.

So this week's double episode of The Hills......? What do we all think of Stephanie Pratt? I foresee trouble!!

So it seems Lauren Conrad, our favourite "reality" TV star, has a bit of a signature style of late. This can be a good thing, but can also get boring if you keep wearing the same thing over and over (Lindsay. Lohan. Leggings.)!

Lauren loves leggings, little tops, and oversixed shades finished off with a ponytail and she wears the look for any occassion!

The Hills star looked chic in L.A. Friday wearing shiny leggings, a pretty printed cami, and platform slingbacks. She accessorised with oversized black sunnies and a sleek low swept ponytail. She looks so glam!

The following day she wore a more casual version of the look to walk her dog. She looked comfy in a grey, v-neck, tank top, leggings and black mocassin boots. Again she had her oversized shades on but this time her hair was in a high, sporty looking pony.

Can't wait for the new episode of The Hills this week!!

So what did you all think of the new Season 3 of The Hills episodes?? The funny moment when the 2 guys were fighting over Lauren's attention at the club, when Lauren burnt her Alberta Ferretti gown with her curling irons, when she got on the back of a scooter in a ball gown, Heidi's new lips?! OMG the drama just keeps getting funnier and more addictive!

Before the new episode was aired, the main ladies, Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port, all posed together in their fantastic outfits for the Premiere Party on Monday night.

Leading lady Lauren looked glam in a slinky navy gown with delicate gold straps and matching gold jewellry.

Sexy Audrina went summery in bright in a pretty yellow mini dress with a cute waist sash, accessorised with classic black peep toes.

Fashionista Whitney looked sweet in a white peasant top, floaty red mini skirt and dual tone strappy shoes.

I love all the looks but my favourite at a push would probably be Audrina's because it's so simple, but Whitney's shoes are my fav!

In the hair department however Lauren is the clear winner. The new fashion designer has been setting hair trends recently with her stylish braids, and she wore the look again on Monday night.

LC wore a thick braid across the front of her side-parted hair and then tied the rest of her hair back into a low side ponytail with loose waves.

Love it!

Little black dresses never go out of style, especially if you modernise them slightly to fit the trends of each season. Here are my favourites as seen on celebs recently!:

Thandie Newton wore a high-necked, lace, black dress to the NYC Premiere of her new movie, Run, Fat Boy, Run last Thursday. The floral lace and the mini style with black tights are very trendy aspects as is the waist belt, whilst overall the look is classic, especially with Thandie's simple make-up and chic updo.

Also updating her LBD was Lauren Conrad, who wore a stylish one-shoulder, assymetrical black dress to the Late Show with David Letterman in New York City last Tuesday. Lauren looked simple and elegant and accessorised with black peep toes. For fans of The Hills like myself, the new episodes with the trip to France and Brody's new girlfriend (but not with Kristin Cavallari :() started last night!

Melissa George proved how sultry black can be in a fitted basque style pencil dress with satin side panels and patent court shoes, that she wore to the screening of Stop-Loss last Thursday. I do like the natural look but I think the glamorous dress needs a little more glam in the hair and make-up departments.

Finally we have Lucy Liu wearing the simplest LBD of all to the 2008 UNICEF and Esquire Nationwide Tap Project in NYC last Wednesday, a black v-neck which could eaisly transition from season to season. Lucy gave the look some edge with the most gorgeous animal print pumps ever! Love them! I also love her side-swept updo.

Lauren Conrad, previously famous for being the star of Laguna Beach and The Hills, yesterday debuted her new fashion line at L.A. Fashion Week. The budding new designer looked cute in a strapless tiered black dress and black peep toes.

She was joined by The Hills co-stars Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port, Laguna Beach co-stars Lo Bosworth and Kristin Cavallari (yes really!) and boy-toy Brody Jenner and his side-kick Frankie Delgado.

So Brody and his two exes Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari (mortal enemies since Laguna Beach) were all in one room? And no drama kicked off?! Maybe these guys are growing up!

When I asked in a poll a few weeks ago if you thought she deserved to show her line at Fashion Week, around two-thirds of you said no! So now The Lauren Conrad Fall 2008 Collection has been shown, what do we think?

Her sister Brianna (of Laguna Beach Season 3) stated that the strapless cream dress (above left) was her favourite item. It was cute, but personally I adored the floral black and white pencil dress (above middle). Check out Lauren wearing a maxi version of this dress recently in my GirlzNight article!

I also loved the black lace accents she used on many items including an LBD with a black lace skirt (above right), and the French widow inspired head wear.

There were a lot of flattering jersey style items in autumnal colours like olive, plum and burgandy. Some of my favs were the burgandy off-the-shoulder top, olive dress with plunging neckline and chic plum coloured belted cardigan.

Like most other designers, Lauren showed off some one shoulder numbers including a burnt orange top and strappy black LBD. I loved her orange and black panel mini dress too and again the French vibe was continued with leather gloves.

So far things are looking good, but it was a bit anoying to see Lauren continuing with the legging trend long after most other designers have abandoned it! The Hills girls do love their leggings though.

And finally we have the gorgeous cream monochrome outfits, my absolute favourite being the black and white strapless pencil dress with front slit (above middle). So sophisticated!

There was a tiered strapless cream top (above right) accessorised with a bow detailed beret, very French again! Her time in France with Whitney (to be shown on the new season of The Hills debuting later this month) must have really rubbed off on her!

The tiered and bow trends were also shown on a flirty little dress (above left).

Overall the collection is not exactly thrilling or trend-setting and certainly won't set the fashion world on fire; but it is very wearable (I'd wear most of the collection myself) and has strong themes running through it and definitely has Lauren's stamp all over it. And no matter what you think of it, you cannot deny it is a serious step-up from her previous boring and over-priced collections!

I like it, but I still don't think it's worth the price tag!

It'll be interesting to see her develop as a designer though as her tastes hopefully mature and she gains more confidence.

The Premiere of the secretive monster movie Cloverfield was held in L.A. last Wednesday and it seems that keeping the plot underwraps for so long hasn't dampened the interest of movie goers or celebs in the film, as it has exceeded box office expectations over it's opening weekend and many young It girls attended the premiere!

Quirky young actress Michelle Trachtenberg struck a fierce pose wearing a high-waisted black and white structured skirt with a black waist belt, a black vest and black opaque tights.

The Hills good girl Lauren Conrad brought some colour to the event in a multi-coloured chiffon Jenny Packman dress. I love the fun flirty look and her simple updo.

Tania Ramonde also looked gorgeous in a classic LBD and black courts. She made the look edgy with a trendy leather jacket, big curly hair and sexy red lips.

Unfortunately not all famous young stars are gorgeous classy role-models!

Desperados Lindsay Lohan and Heidi Montag couldn't resist making spectacles of themselves at the event with their fake blonde extensions and attention seeking dresses.

Lindsay left little to the imagination in a black skin-tight Herve Leger mini dress whilst Heidi wore a cheap looking bold red dress.

Both girls look like plastic, blonde clones - so boring!!

Lauren Conrad took a break from The Hills to pick up free gifts at Kari Feinstein Winter Style Lounge in L.A. yesterday.

The reality tv star showed off her new shorter layered hair cut with a strapless off white dress.

I like how she brightened up her outfit with a cute purple scarf tied around her bag strap and I love her gold flaps and delicate little gold necklace.

Kristin Cavallari turned 21 yesterday and she celebrated like most of us with a party at celeb hotspot LAX in Vegas. Ok, maybe not like most of us!

In other Kristin news, some of you may have heard the rumours going around that Kristin is to appear in one of my favourite TV shows The Hills. How fab would that be! Kristin has even been quoted as saying "it's a great show" in regards to the reality tv drama starring her most famous enemy, Lauren Conrad. So have the girls kissed and made-up?



With Lauren now "good friends" (and hook-up buddies) with Kristin's ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner and apparently now also hooking up with her childhood friend and Kristin's other ex-boyfriend Stephen Colletti, I highly doubt it! I hope Kristin does turn up on The Hills. It would be the most drama filled season ever! Forget Heidi, Kristin is the original drama queen!

The Hills Girls Lauren, Audrina, Whitney and Lo were all at LAX for a pre-new years eve party on December 30th.

The star of the show, Lauren, donned a strapless silver bubble dress with matching silver strappy sandals and THE hottest nail colour for 2008 - navy blue!! Mark my words! Plus doesn't Lauren's hair look much better shoulder length? I've been dying for her to cut her hair for ages and while it's nothing drastic, it's a definate improvement.

As for the other ladies, Lo looked sophisticated in a beige knee-length dress, Audrina looked sexy in a quirky black and cream ruffle dress and low-key Whitney looked relaxed in a grey tie-dyed racer-back dress.

Don't all of the girls' hair look fab? I wonder if they have the same hairstylist? Hmmm.

And we can't forget the boys! Audrina's shamed ex-"boyfriend" Justin Bobby (left) dared to show his face. Well hair and beared, and a little face. I guess this means him and Audrina are friends again? I hope that's all they are cos she can do better than that cheater!

Partying with Justin was Lauren's on/off non-boyfriend and Kim Kardashian's step-brother, Brody Jenner (middle) and his sidekick and Lo's one-time hook-up Frankie Delgado who was perfecting his "I'm cool" look.

Speaking of boys, have you all heard that the night before, Lauren was apparently hooking-up with her ex-boyfriend Stephen Colletti! You know? The guy her and arch rival Kristen Cavallari used to bicker over before Brody Jenner came on the scene? The guy Hayden Panettiere just dumped? Scandal!

The above picture of The Hills "star" Heidi Montag, her boyfriend Spencer Pratt and his ex-convict psychopath sister Stephanie Pratt, all going out for dinner at Katsuya Restaurant on Saturday night, looks like a scene from Lauren Conrad's worst nightmare!

The twisted trio gathered together to plot how they could further ruin Lauren's life/reputation in 2008 or otherwise cause havoc....... I would imagine.

At least plastic Heidi looked stylish in her gorgeous blue suede boots worn with a chic and simple black dress and black tights. A small consolation I suppose!

Update: According to Perez Hilton, they didn't go out for dinner at all! They just called up the paparazzi to photograph them entering the restaurant and then left out the back door without ordering or anything! Desperate for publicity eh? Aaaaaarrrggghhhh! Season 3 of The Hills is over! And with Heroes, Weeds, Prison Break, Desperate Housewives and Beauty and the Geek all off the air, I'm running out of things to obsess over! At least there's still Gossip Girl, for a while at least. And if you tuned into The Hills Finale Monday night, you'll know it's back in the Spring for 8 more episodes!

For now though, I'll obsess about the stars' off screen style and drama, both of which is aplenty!

First we have leading lady Lauren Conrad (left), and buddies Whitney (middle) and Audrina (right).

LC looked lovely in a silver drape Alice + Olivia dress and silver strappies whilst Whitney looked like a cute little lady bird in her curious outfit of black and red spotted mini dress, black tights and black ankle boots.

The best dressed however was Audrina who admitted she's gone all out for the "special occassion". I love her blue, high neck, chiffon dress. The colour, the material, the shape. And with the gold peep toes, gold earrings and tied back hair, she looks perfect!

Also there was LC's arch nemesis Heidi (middle) showing off her "paid for" boobs and making a fashion boob by wearing the same LaRok dress she wore to Spike TV's Video Game Awards the Friday before! The dress is quite cute and hits a trend with the sequins, but she surely owns another one?!

Heidi's Bolthouse workmates, past and present were also in attendance. Ex-coworker and current enemy, Elodie Otto (left) tried her best but didn't quite hit the mark in her ill-fitting silver dress. Current co-worker Kimberly Brandon (right) on the other hand, looked fab in her black and white mini and black courts.

Finally we have the part-timers. On the right is LC's long-time friend (back from her Laguna Beach days!), Lo. She looked lovely in a navy blue b-neck dress and side swept ponytail. I hope to see more of her in the new episodes!

And on the left is LC's other long-time "friend", Jen Bunney, who we all remember as the girl who made out with Lauren's on/off boyfriend Brody Jenner behind her back! Jen and her new nose both looked great in her black mini dress and gorgeous black peep toes. Was someone trying to get Brody's attention again?? Watch out for this one LC, she may be your friend for now but I see her stirring up a whole host of trouble again in the future!

Best friends Lauren Conrad (left) and Audrina Patridge (right) looked like they were having a great time together whilst shopping in Los Angeles this past Thursday. The two pals shopped at vintage store The Way We Wore before going to eat at Mauro's Cafe inside Fred Segal. What a fun afternoon! If LC & Audrina ever go the way of LC & Heidi or LC & Jen Bunney, I'm totally auditioning to be her new BFF! Lol.

Both girls looked young and fun in their outfits. LC wore black leggins with a loose black jersey top, flat silver pumps and a slouchy black bag with a gold chain strap. I adore her woollen khaki hat and the aviator sunglasses are cool but should shades and a winter hat really be worn together?!

Audrina also opted for leggins but was a little more covered up in her funky, long grey top with mesh bottom. I also adore her silver lip shaped necklace, how cool!

And now I'm officially a graduate! Hey everyone, I graduated yesterday and had to get up at 4:30am to get there in time. I'm so glad it's over cos it was such a stress getting prepared for it lol. Anyway, now I'm back to blogging!

And what better way to return than with a picture of my favourite female celeb of all - Jennifer Lopez, looking chic and stylish at a casting call to find America's best female dancer. The winner will appear in one of Jennifer's upcoming music videos. It's a shame I'm not American. Oh, and I can't dance! Lol. I'm not sure how the dancers were but at least Jennifer looked great in tailored, wide leg, black trousers, a low-cut white shirt and stylish black waistcoat.

Next we have the beautiful Mischa Barton in a floaty, deep red dress with low-cut neckline and bell sleeves. She wore this to Van Cleef & Arpels Hosts "Une Journee a Paris", whatever that is, and accessorised with unusual gold shoes which had clear panels, a black and gold bag, a lovely gold waist belt and dainty gold bracelets.

Her skin and make-up were absolutely flawless and her hair looked really flatterring swept off her face. I really adore this look.

And from one teen drama queen to another, we have One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush at this year's Teen Choice Awards with the hottest accessory - a Teen Choice surf board! The rest of her outfit was cute too, she wore a super fitted black and white bandeau dress which she brightened up with red peep toe shoes. I love her black nail polish but I hate that she has on gold earrings and a silver bracelet, pick one metal!

Here she is at a press conference in the UK on Sunday looking so stylish in a grey short sleeved dress, black leggins and gold sandals. And last but not least, while I'm waiting for the newest episode of The Hills to download, here are pictures of LC outside Il Sole restaurant in West Hollywood last night with Frankie Delgado (recently seen holding hands with Hilary Duff, til she got a new boy toy), looking sexy yet classy in some very skinny jeans with zips at the botom, black round toe courts, a long black top and a gorgeous silver swing jacket with cropped sleeves. The look is pulled together with an oversized black bag and a cute black hairband.

Jessica Alba may bare a lot of flesh for her movies and photo shoots, but in her everyday life she prefers to stay respectable and stylish. In the run up to the show, Lauren and Audrina have been doing a lot of promotional work including a visit to TRL last week where they both put their own twist on a blue mini dress and beige heels. Audrina looked sexy in a tight fitting turquoise Jay Godfrey dress and beige strappy sandals but I prefer LC's look of a loose fitting navy dress (love them!) and round toe beige heels. Lauren's curly hair looks great too.
