Both these blonde lovelies once fought over boys whilst starring on Laguna Beach. Now they seem to have grown up a little and settled their feud - but which one is more stylish?

New fashion desginer Lauren Conrad, was seen out and about in the L.A sunshine last week wearing a cool, summery white maxi dress.

The dress was a bandeau style and Lauren accessorised it with gold sandals, a big gold bag and gold jewellery. Oh and of course, her big black celebrity style sunglasses!

A couple of days later, her former rival Kristin Cavallari kept things sexy in a short fitted black dress worn with white, jewelled sandals, an oversized black bag and another celeb favourite; gold aviator sunglasses.

But whose style was better??

For me, it's gonna be Lauren because the maxi dress is such a current trend and the white and gold combo is great for summer! Both girls look great in their simple, summery looks though.

Lauren Conrad, previously famous for being the star of Laguna Beach and The Hills, yesterday debuted her new fashion line at L.A. Fashion Week. The budding new designer looked cute in a strapless tiered black dress and black peep toes.

She was joined by The Hills co-stars Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port, Laguna Beach co-stars Lo Bosworth and Kristin Cavallari (yes really!) and boy-toy Brody Jenner and his side-kick Frankie Delgado.

So Brody and his two exes Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari (mortal enemies since Laguna Beach) were all in one room? And no drama kicked off?! Maybe these guys are growing up!

When I asked in a poll a few weeks ago if you thought she deserved to show her line at Fashion Week, around two-thirds of you said no! So now The Lauren Conrad Fall 2008 Collection has been shown, what do we think?

Her sister Brianna (of Laguna Beach Season 3) stated that the strapless cream dress (above left) was her favourite item. It was cute, but personally I adored the floral black and white pencil dress (above middle). Check out Lauren wearing a maxi version of this dress recently in my GirlzNight article!

I also loved the black lace accents she used on many items including an LBD with a black lace skirt (above right), and the French widow inspired head wear.

There were a lot of flattering jersey style items in autumnal colours like olive, plum and burgandy. Some of my favs were the burgandy off-the-shoulder top, olive dress with plunging neckline and chic plum coloured belted cardigan.

Like most other designers, Lauren showed off some one shoulder numbers including a burnt orange top and strappy black LBD. I loved her orange and black panel mini dress too and again the French vibe was continued with leather gloves.

So far things are looking good, but it was a bit anoying to see Lauren continuing with the legging trend long after most other designers have abandoned it! The Hills girls do love their leggings though.

And finally we have the gorgeous cream monochrome outfits, my absolute favourite being the black and white strapless pencil dress with front slit (above middle). So sophisticated!

There was a tiered strapless cream top (above right) accessorised with a bow detailed beret, very French again! Her time in France with Whitney (to be shown on the new season of The Hills debuting later this month) must have really rubbed off on her!

The tiered and bow trends were also shown on a flirty little dress (above left).

Overall the collection is not exactly thrilling or trend-setting and certainly won't set the fashion world on fire; but it is very wearable (I'd wear most of the collection myself) and has strong themes running through it and definitely has Lauren's stamp all over it. And no matter what you think of it, you cannot deny it is a serious step-up from her previous boring and over-priced collections!

I like it, but I still don't think it's worth the price tag!

It'll be interesting to see her develop as a designer though as her tastes hopefully mature and she gains more confidence.

Josie Maran looked like a Genie in a crazy bottle when she was caught in this pink and gold linen jumpsuit that she wore to the Business of Being Born Premiere in Hollywood last week. With her sandals and messed up hair she looked ready for the beach not the red carpet.

Kristin Cavallari, soon to be making her debut on The Hills if rumours are to be believed, was at the Stone Rose Lounge in L.A. on Wednesday where she showed off her white bra through her shiny, clingy, see-through blue mini dress. The words shiny, clingy, see-through and mini in the same sentence = pure class.

And finally Molly Ringwald sent the fashion police crazy at the November Party at Bond 45 Restaurant last Thursday in a red check monstrosity of a dress, busy diamond patterned black tights and witchy pointed black shoes. Uuuurrrrghhh. So much wrong on one person in one outfit!

So for me personally Molly is definatly the biggest fashion disaster of the three, but what do you think??

Kristin Cavallari turned 21 yesterday and she celebrated like most of us with a party at celeb hotspot LAX in Vegas. Ok, maybe not like most of us!

In other Kristin news, some of you may have heard the rumours going around that Kristin is to appear in one of my favourite TV shows The Hills. How fab would that be! Kristin has even been quoted as saying "it's a great show" in regards to the reality tv drama starring her most famous enemy, Lauren Conrad. So have the girls kissed and made-up?



With Lauren now "good friends" (and hook-up buddies) with Kristin's ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner and apparently now also hooking up with her childhood friend and Kristin's other ex-boyfriend Stephen Colletti, I highly doubt it! I hope Kristin does turn up on The Hills. It would be the most drama filled season ever! Forget Heidi, Kristin is the original drama queen!

The Hills Girls Lauren, Audrina, Whitney and Lo were all at LAX for a pre-new years eve party on December 30th.

The star of the show, Lauren, donned a strapless silver bubble dress with matching silver strappy sandals and THE hottest nail colour for 2008 - navy blue!! Mark my words! Plus doesn't Lauren's hair look much better shoulder length? I've been dying for her to cut her hair for ages and while it's nothing drastic, it's a definate improvement.

As for the other ladies, Lo looked sophisticated in a beige knee-length dress, Audrina looked sexy in a quirky black and cream ruffle dress and low-key Whitney looked relaxed in a grey tie-dyed racer-back dress.

Don't all of the girls' hair look fab? I wonder if they have the same hairstylist? Hmmm.

And we can't forget the boys! Audrina's shamed ex-"boyfriend" Justin Bobby (left) dared to show his face. Well hair and beared, and a little face. I guess this means him and Audrina are friends again? I hope that's all they are cos she can do better than that cheater!

Partying with Justin was Lauren's on/off non-boyfriend and Kim Kardashian's step-brother, Brody Jenner (middle) and his sidekick and Lo's one-time hook-up Frankie Delgado who was perfecting his "I'm cool" look.

Speaking of boys, have you all heard that the night before, Lauren was apparently hooking-up with her ex-boyfriend Stephen Colletti! You know? The guy her and arch rival Kristen Cavallari used to bicker over before Brody Jenner came on the scene? The guy Hayden Panettiere just dumped? Scandal!

Ex Laguna Beach-er and Nick Zano's girlfriend, Kristin Cavallari, looked great in a cute Autumn outfit whilst out in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. Kristin showed that black opaque tights look fab with a sexy little dress, like her fitted grey polo neck number, and black knee-high boots for a stylish day-time look that is much better than clutching on to last season's leggings, Lindsay! Plus another tip for Lindsay, tops and dresses that cover your behind look much classier with leggings and tights than short tops that show everything!

Blonde Kristin Cavallari was at The Make-a-Wish Foundation Holiday Preview Fashion Show in Hollywood on Wednesday dressed in a sexy, coral, bandeau dress. The fitted shape and satin material looked great on Kristin and the colour suited her skin tone and blonde hair perfectly.

I love her hair with the thick fringe and pulled back in a formal updo but I think she could have found cuter shoes than those black pointy courts. Maybe peep toes?

Brunette Kristin Davis was looking more reserved but still stylish at the Viva La Cure Shopping Weekend Kick Off Event also on Wednesday. She wore a high-waisted, black, puff ball skirt which fell just below her knees and tucked in a cute puff sleeved, white shirt.

She added some individuality with unusual flat peep toes and wore her signature hair look, long loose and flowly. She looked fab!!

Here's Kristin Cavallari at the opening of Pink Taco in Los Angeles looking quite stylish and not at all slutty. This girl has came a long way I have to give it to her.

I love her delicate, long, silver necklace and I also think the detailing on the top is really pretty although I'm kinda getting fed up of smock style tops and dresses that make women with amazing figures look shapeless.
