Actresses Kristen Stewart (left) and Zoe Saldana (right) were amongst the up and coming starlets at the Hollywood Life Breakthrough of the Year Awards in L.A. on Sunday.

Kristen, 17, is a very talented actress who got her first break in Panic Room along side Jodie Foster at age 12. I saw her recently with Adam Brody and Meg Ryan in In the Land of Women where she was really great and next year she is set to appear in What Just Happened with Robert De Niro, Sean Penn and Bruce Willis! Look out for her!

At the event, she went casual in skinny jeans, a black cardigan, black pointed courts and a cross pendant. Understated and age appropriate but I look forward to seeing her take more risks.

Zoe, 29, has had small roles in movies like Pirates of the Caribbean and TV shows like Law & Order but is still yet to hit the big time. 2008 could be her year though as she is set to star as Uhura in the Star Trek movie.

Her style is somewhat sophisticated and somewhat sexy, like her strapless black pencil dress with feathered hem that she wore to the event with black and gold vintage-like peep toes. She needs to sort out her hair and make-up before her celeb status rises though. A greasy face and long lifeless hair will not make you an A lister!
