A Girl for Jessica and Cash??
Tuesday, 8 April 2008
A pregnant Jessica Alba held her babyshower in L.A. on Sunday and who was the biggest celeb to turn up? Kim "I'll go to the opening of an envelope if it gets me photographed" Kardashian.
I guess poor Jess isn't that popular in Hollywood!
Kim looked summery in a floarty floral dress and beige peep toe wedges, but more interestlingly, she carried a baby pink bag full of gifts wrapped in pink.
I guess this confirms that Jess and her fiance Cash Warren are having a baby girl?
The baby is reportedly due in May and some sources say she is to be named Honor. Hmmm. Not sure about that one.

Monday, 25 February 2008
As well as Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba and her growing baby bump wore Marchesa Fall 2008 to today's Academy Awards.
Jessica chose a strapless deep purple gown which skimmed over her third trimester bump (so she told Ryan Seacrest, though she wouldn't reveal her due date!).
It's so cliche to say about a pregnant woman but her skin truly was glowing, and I love her pretty braided updo. She accessorised in gold with big earrings and a chunky bracelet, but kept her neck area clear so as not to over do it, especially with the feather detail on the dress.

Jessica Alba, at the Scientific and Technical Academy Awards yesterday, looked beautiful in a new Marchesa Fall 2008 strapless grey gown.
The beautiful chiffon dress had three ruffled tiers and an empire waistline which is very flaterring cut for pregnant women!

Links to this post Email this postOMG Whose Style Was Better?! - Jessica Alba vs Leona Lewis
Wednesday, 30 January 2008
British diva Leona Lewis stopped by the MTV TRL studios on Monday and the songstress looked absolutely gorgeous in a pretty floral cream camisole which was contrasted with a cropped black leather jacket and ripped denim jeans.
She accessorised with a long gold necklace, an oversized pearl ring and sugary pink nail polish.
The following day, American starlet Jessica Alba visited TRL wearing an off-the-shoulder pocketed dress with beaded neckline which she teamed with black tights, black patent ankle boots and a simple gold bracelet.
But whose style was better? Personally, (and I promise I'm not being biased just because I adore her!!) I think Leona looked better. Although there's a lot more going on with her outfit, somehow Jessica's seems fussier. Plus Leona just looks more young and cool!
What do you think??

Pregnant Jessica Alba wore a floral pink Christian Dior Resort 2008 dress to Glamour Magazine's V-Day Luncheon at Centuary City yesterday.
The actress managed to make a pretty summer dress like frumpy by teaming it with prim and proper accessories and a girly hairstyle.
I love feminine looks but this one needs a bit of edge to look as good as it did on model Patricia Schmid on the runway.

Wednesday, 5 December 2007
You don't always have to try hard to look good, as Jessica Alba proved whilst out shopping for furniture with her mother along LaBrea Avenue yesterday.
The actress, whose latest film Awake with Hayden Christensen and Terrence Howard has opened to disappointing reviews, seemed not to care whilst strolling around in loose beige trousers, a classic white v-neck t-shirt and a red and white scarf.
Never mind about the film Jess! At least you still have great style!

Links to this post Email this postWhich Autumn/Winter Haircut Will You Choose??: Layers
Sunday, 4 November 2007
If you love your long lengths but want to give your hair movement and shape, follow these celebs with their feminine, sexy haircuts:
Amanda Bynes's long locks are full of long layeres as well as shorter face framing layers around the front. She wears them centre parted with a slight natural wave for a casual look.
For those of you, like me, who adore Gossip Girl, you can get a slice of Blake Lively's style with her long layered hair worn wavy and slightly messed up with a messy parting for a Kate Moss shabby chic look.
If you prefer your long hair straight and sleek, try Jessica Alba's look. This look is simple but very girly and flirty and would suit most people. She has lots of different length layers all straightened to emphasize them.
Nicole Scherzinger has reeeeeally long hair (I doubt it's all hers though!) and tons of bouncy curled layers. This look is super glamorous and I love how she's clipped one side back.
Finally we have Sophia Bush sporting a mid length version of the layered look swept to the side and flicked out. Her hair looks healthy and glossy and the layers show off the lovely red tones in her hair.
Tell me, do you like the layered look??

Monday, 22 October 2007
Where: Elle's 14th Annual Women in Hollywood Party
When: October 15th 2007
Here at OMG I Love Her Style, we luuurve women, we luuurve Hollywood and we certainly luuurve style so here are a rundown of the best looks from Elle's Women in Hollywood Party. And best of all? No Britney's, Lindsay's, Paris's or Nicole's! Just talented, sophisticated, classy ladies :)
What: A funky, pink and white patterned Balenciaga mini dress with cool, laidback pockets (so in style!) worn with a pair of black shoes with thick plaited straps. Jennifer's entire dress was embroidered and her gorgeous raven locks were straight and glossy.
Who: Kate Bosworth
What: Kate's delicate cream blouse was so pretty and the whole silhouette had a great shape when teamed with a fab tulip skirt. She wore a large statement necklace and kept her hair simple and slicked back into a side-parted updo.
What: Simple and quietly dramatic, Danielle wore a shiny white dress with tulip style sleeves and a gathered neckline with bold burgandy shoes and a matching burgandy clutch. I don't know this girl but she certainly makes a style impact!
What: Again, I don't know this lady but she looked great in her grecian inspired, forest green dress so why not blog about her? Lol. The dress was simple and flattering, but had the added glam factor with diamante detailing under the bust and around the neckline. This was matched with the big diamante detail on her court shoes. And even her skin was sparkling and glowing!

Who: Scarlett Johansson
What: One of the biggest (in terms of success!) ladies of the night, Scarlett, stood out in her sweetheart necklined, Louis Vuitton, LBD by adding her own personal style in the shape of strappy shoes with turquoise flowers, matching turquoise drop earrings and a glamorous old Hollywood style hairdo. The bodice on this dress is gorgeous.
What: Looking hot in a zipped up, black, Lanvin dress with a cool collar, Jessica Alba showed her stylish side with her all patent accessories. She wore a patent skinny waist belt, strappy patent shoes and carried a patent clutch. Simple and effective!
What: I love how Molly Sims has played with shapes in her outfit, with a chic black pencil skirt and a volumous silver top. I'm not fussed on the shoes and I think a sleek do would have been more appropriate than this messy do, but her silver hoops and black clutch are adorable.
What: A lovely LBD with lace bodice and lace panelled skirt teamed with classic, black, peep toes a structured black clutch and an oversized black and gold ring. This look is classically beautiful with a stylish twist, but Alyson needs to work on her facial expressions for posing! She looks a little stunned :S
What: Kristen had the Midas touch (like a certain co-star's character in Heroes if there are any fans reading!!) in a fitted, nude, shift dress with gold sequins and strappy gold sandals. She wore long gold earrings, sported long golden locks and even gold eyeshadow! Sensing a theme?? Whatever, it worked cos she looked great!
Who: Melissa George
What: My favourite, most dramatic, and chicest (if it's not a word I'm making it one!) look of the night, goes to Melissa George who pulled out all the stops and wasn't afraid to look different in this STUNNING grey Peter Som dress with sheer top, black velvet band under the bust, lace detailing and a tulip shaped skirt.
There are so many different, styles going on in this outfit but it still looks simple and pulled together rather than busy. I'm sure many won't like her bold, burgandy lip colour on pale, matt skin but it shows me how fashion forward this woman (or her stylist) is. As does her Hollywood glam curls, her slightly bushy brows (yes they're in style!), her clear nail polish (colour only on lips or nails but not both!), her burgandy clutch, her oversized pearl ring, need I go on?? So many aspects of this look are great!
What do you think?? I say Melissa George (or, again, her stylist) is one to watch in the style stakes!

Wanna make a chic statement in your office? Follow Jessica Alba's look from the Padres Contra el Cancer's 7th annual "El Sueno de Esperanza" on Thursday where she dressed in a knee-length, high-waisted black skirt and a tucked-in crisp white shirt. She also had a black belt around her waist and added some subtle colour with a birgandy blutch and patent, burgandy courts.
With her curls in a casual updo, this look is perfect for showing your stylish edge off to your colleagues.
For more pics of Jessica
Don't wanna show off your legs? Monica Bellucci looked sexy but smart and also covered up in this gorgeous black suit at the photocall for her new film Le Deuxieme Souffle on Thursday.
The jacket was fitted and had a low cut neckline. It could also be worn open with a cute satin top to be bang on autumn winter trend. The trousers were souchy as seen on the catwalks and she carried an aaaaaadorbale little black padded bag.
Finally, if your office is a little more casual, take inspiration from Kate Bosworth's quirky little dress that she wore to the Fendi Private Dinner on Thursday.
The dress was in a trapeze shape with subtle pleats and in an off white colour. It has a funky collar and tie detail whilst still looking highly feminine and pretty. Kate wore it with strappy gold sandals but it would look just as great for work with blakc opaque tights and black, round toe courts.

Sunday, 7 October 2007
Dresses may be everywhere at the moment, including all over the pages of this blog, but women will always go back to their jeans no matter what's going on in fashion!
Andrea Bowen was at the Power of Youth event benefiting St. Jude Children's Hospital yesterday, bringing her classic boot-cut jeans into style with flat black pumps, a white t-shirt, a black Kate Moss style waistcoat and long layered necklaces. She looked super cute!
For more pics of Andrea
Also at the same event was the adorbale Emma Roberts, making her jeans look chic tucked into this season's black biker boots, a striped nautical t-shirt and a long navy cardigan with cropped sleeves. Love it!
Finally we have the gorgeous Jessica Alba looking autumn casual in her skinny grey jeans teames with flat white pumps and a grey cowl necked jumper. She looks comfy but stylish at the same time.

With the likes of Britney, Kim, Lindsey and Paris about, it's nice to see that some of Hollywood's women know what it means to be classy ladies and how to dress that way too!
Here is a pic of super model Christie Brinkley at the screening of "The Good Night" on Friday, looking younger than her years, in a below the knee, white, linen, dress and silver sandals. Her hair is bouncy and glossy and she looks laid-back but sophisticated. I think the matching jacket is a bit corny though, glad she took it off!
For more pics of Christie
Catherine Zeta-Jones always looks polished and put together and this picture of her at the screening of "Kings of California" on Saturday is no exception. Her, below the knee, fitted, red, dress is sexy yet classy and definatly a show stopper! I love her cream shoes with red accents and her cream clutch to match. Catherine always knows how to impress!
Another celebrity who is ever the lady is Miss Kylie Minogue, seen here leaving her Chelsea home yesterday looking comfy and relaxed. This outfit may not be glam but even in jeans, a scarf and a cute brown jacket, Kylie looks sophisticated. I have to point out that I love her electric blue sandals too!
Jessica Alba may bare a lot of flesh for her movies and photo shoots, but in her everyday life she prefers to stay respectable and stylish. Here she's seen walking her adorable dogs in Vancouver on Friday looking trendy in bright purple skinny jeans (coloured jeans are all the rage!), layered black and white tops, a long, black, jacket and flat, black, pumps. Jess looks hot and very stylish but is still very dignified.
Finally we have our youngest classy lady of the post, Lauren Conrad, following her appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly in NYC last week. She looks so adorable in this gorgeous, charcoal, bandeau, dress and black, round toe, courts. She looks elegant and most definatly lady-like and I particularly like her hair in this half-up, half-down style.
Team LC! Lol.

The camera shy (apparently) Jessica Alba, was spotted looking very chic last weekend in Vancouver, running from her hotel to her taxi. She wore bootcut blue jeans, a black blouse and a long black coat and accessorised with an oversized brown bag and black shades. She looked classic and casual.

On Monday, BFF's Mischa Barton and Nicole Richie went out to dinner together and both ladies looked fab.
Mischa wore a really great, loose fitting dress with white, yellow and blakc panels, teamed with her signature flats and a bag with a long strap.
Nicole showed off her cute little baby bump perfectly in a black ribbed vest, which she wore with black skinny jeans, a goregous long brown cardi, and high heeled silver peep toes.

Mini mogul Ashley Olsen was out shopping some of her hard earned cash at Neiman and Marcus in Beverly Hills on Wednesday looking sophisticated and grown up in her silky dress, black high heels and a thick green scarf. I love her sunglasses especially with her hair tied back like that.
Finally we have Amanda Bynes leaving the early show on Thursday looking cute and preppy in a white polo neck with a pink vest over the top (funky idea), dark grey straight leg jeans and beautiful beige courts. She looked glam carrying her huge, black, patent bag and I love her cute pink bracelet.

Thursday, 9 August 2007
Young starlet number one, Devon Aoki, was sene out for coffee in LA on Tuesday proving that when you're young and pretty even jeans and a vest can look great. I love the care free vibe of this look and the brown wedges are perfect for adding a little bit of glam.
For more pics of Devon
Young starlet number two, Emmy Rossum, was stiking in a beautiful red shift dress and white sandals at Helio's Party and Heal the Bay in West Hollywood yesterday. This look is the perfect combo of easy to wear and glamorous.
Hilary Duff's latest man seems to be sticking around for a while and she certainly seems happy about it! She was seen out and about with him in L.A. yesterday, and despite being in a relationship, Hilary is not letting herself go at all! She looked great in her loose dress and leggins, with the brown belt slung over the top. This look is full of great accessories; the beautiful scarf, gold wedges, loads of jewellery and my favourite - that turquoise bag.
The ever beautiful and newly (apparently) single Jessica Alba stepped out of her sweet as pie box last weekend to go clubbing at Hyde (well someone has to take over from Lindsay now she's vanished!) and looked sleek and stylish whilst doing it in her simple monochrome outfit of black jeans, white vest, blakc court shoes and a black jacket. Love the simple look and lets face it, Jessica looks good in anything.

I haven't seen a pic of Kate Bosworth in a while and I was misisng her quirky-but-always-impeccable style, so I was happy to see this pic of her at the L.A. Premier of 11th Hour yesterday in an off-white one sleeved dress. It is a very unusual style but I think she just about pulls it off with her swept back hair, smoky eyes, black clutch and black courts. What do you think? Hit or miss?

Emmy Rossum looked as sweet as Tweety Pie himself at the Tweety Boutique opening party on Wednesday in an adorable black dress with white trim and clinched in waist. I love the yellow clutch that she's teamed with it and her natural, rosy make-up.
For more pics of Emmy
Christina Applegate chose a simple black dress with gold button details for the ABC Summer All-Star Party yesterday and made the look hot with bright red lips. I love the round scoop neckline on the dress.
For more pics of Christina
Like Emmy Rossum, Molly Sims chose to team a little black dress with a yellow clutch for the Tweety Colletion Launch Party. I can't decide whose dress I like best! They both look great, I love the polka dots on Molly's dress, the cute ribbon and the bandeau style of it.
For more pics of Molly
Young starlet Vanessa Hudgens looked amazingly stylish (as usual!) at the ABC Summer All-Star Party in her very unusual cream Jay Godfrey dress, snake skin print shoes and gold accessories. Her hair looks beautiful too, I love the loose natural curls.
Jessica Alba was looking her usual beautiful self at Comic-Con (who knew??) this week in a super cool, fitted denim dress. Her wavy hair looks great and her make-up is fresh but the shoes are a bit too, uhm, goooooooooold for my liking!
Finally my fellow welsh chick, Catherine Zeta-Jones, looked absolutely lovely at a luncheon to celebrate her new movie "No Reservations" yesterday where she wore a black dress with white trim (a popular style right now!!) and goooooooooorgeous shoes. Whilst most celebs are accessorising with gold right now Catherine bucks the trend and opts for silver and she even matches with her smoky grey and silver eye make-up.

Thursday, 19 July 2007
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't had any updates lately. The reason is I have some kind of problem with my internet explorer and the pages take ages to load. Basically it's been taking me around an hour and a half to do one post and it's really frustrating! So until I get it sorted I'm going to mostly just post all the pics from the day in one post because it's easier for me and takes less time. Sorry! Here we go:

Jessica Alba at the Fantastic Four Madrid Photocall today wearing an unusually daring outfit, nice to see her change it up a bit! Her hair looks great too.

Rachel Bilson with a friend in Los Angeles yesterday looks cute as usual in this casual but smart jeans and blazer combo. Plus she's got her top tucked in, a trend I personally love right now!

Heroes stars Ali Larter and Hayden Panettiere, both attended the NBC All-Star Party in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. Ali looked sexy all in black with her black shorts and black shirt and Hayden looked super cute in her black lace dress and goregous black courts.

Alyson Hannigan attended the Grand re-opening of Decadestwo yesterday and looked very pretty in her white dress. I love her fringe (bangs) and her shoes are fab!

Jessica Alba's been in Paris this week for Eva Longoria and Tony Parker's wedding and on Wednesday she was spotted doing some shopping with some friends. Well, how can you not when you visit Paris?!
She looked adorably cosy in her flared jeans, striped scarf and big, knitted, brown cardi.
Despite all the cold weather attire however, Jessica still wore her shades. Celebrities eh?

Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba both attended Christian Dior's Autumn/Winter 2007/2008 fashion show, marking the beginning of the Paris Haute Couture shows. The show also marked the 60th Anniversary of Dior and the 10th Anniversary of having British Designer John Galliano at the helm.
Many celebrities showed up to mark this special occasion, including Kate and Jessica who stopped to pose together.
Kate looks very 60s hippy, which is often how I see her anyway, in a loose, flowing yellow dress whereas Jessica looks more polished and sophisticated in her sparkling gold, fitted gown and OTT hair and accessories.
Whose look do you prefer??
