Like bright bold colours? There were plenty to be seen at the Costume Instirue Gala last week!

My favourite use of colour was Eva Longoria's trendy plum coloured Marchesa Fall 2008 gown. The colour is in style right now and I loved the strapless style combined with glamorous ruffles. She should lighten up on the troweled on make-up though!

52 year old, supermodel Iman attended with hubby David Bowie looking radiant wearing a bold satin red gown from Dolce and Gabbana. The dress gathered on the hip with a jewelled detail giving it a truly dramatic and elegant look.

I also love love loved the colour of actress Kate Mara's canary yellow Zac Posen Spring 2008, one shoulder, ruffled gown. Clearly ruffles are a huge trend now.

The dress also had a belted waist to give it shape and a dramatic train, perfect for the Costume Institute Gala. Her make-up was simple and flawless with well defined eyes.

No not Eva Longoria (though I'm sure many men would disagree!) - I'm talking about that ice cream! Yummmmmmm.

Pint sized actress Eva is the new face (and voice, if you've seen the advert) of Magnum Mayan Mystica ice cream.

The Desperate Housewife posed at the Villa Magnum in Cannes on Monday to promote her new endorsement, looking very well put together in a strapless ice blue mini dress with flared skirt and fitted bodice, and strappy cream sandals.

The prom style dress is very much back! Many celebs like Geri Halliwell and Agyness Deyn have started wearing the style that was last really popular around 4-5 years ago when I was in my last year of school, and Betsey Johnson's Spring 2008 runway collection featured many prom dresses.

In contrast to the dark sexy gowns, many celebs chose to wear bright white gowns to the 14th Annual SAG Awards last night.

Eva Longoria was back in The States after her recent trip to the UK and on top red carpet form in her Naeem Khan Spring 2008 gown. The gorgeous white gown had a cowl neck front and a low cowl back as well as silver detailing all over. The short curly updo that she always wears is a little aging though. It's about time someone told her!

Veteran actress Holly Hunter wore a pure white chiffon gown with a grey tied waist belt. I think a more structured belt would have looked better and she needs to do something with her hair, but overall the outfit is cute.

Ashley Tisdale was posing to the max in a glowing white Badgley Mischka Couture gown. Her centre parted Farrah flicks were working for her too and I think the High School Musical starlet looked fantastic!

Finally in white we have Ugly Betty's Becki Newton in a shimmery white Elsie Katz Couture gown with layered skirt. The look was high fashion and classy and was one of my favs of the night.

Happily married couple Eva Longoria and Tony Parker looked great together whilst out and about in Santa Monica on Saturday despite recent claims by a French model that she and Tony were having an affair.

I don't know whether the affair happened or not but I respect that Eva chooses to trust her husband in the absense of any proof.

The couple looked relaxed and in love and petite Eva looked great in a grey cardigan with a belted waist and bell sleeves, worn with classic skinny jeans and knee high boots.

I don't see why he'd wanna stray! But then stranger things have happened.

Eva Longoria and Rihanna were both looking amazing at the 2007 Bambi Awards in Duesseldorf, Germany yesterday. We've already seen Katie Holmes looking fantastic in her Monique Lhuillier gown with hubby Tom, but Eva and Rihanna looked just as good.

Eva went for simple, sophisticated glam in a fitted wine coloured, strappless gown which looked absolutely beautiful on her, from the Naeem Khan Autumn 2007 collection. I love her side parted brown curls and gorgeous sparly silver watch (I want one!!) but I think the heavy make-up and huge silver earrings are a little ageing. It's ok though she still looks great!

Rihanna was looking so hot in her low-cut, floor-length leopard print gown by Dolce & Gabbana. She wore it with a pair of fantastic purple shoes (clashing's in you know!) and silver hoop earrings. I'm not keen on her streaky hair colour, but the style's great and her brown eye make-up looks very sexy.

Eva Longoria and "best buddy" Mario Lopez (aka AC Slater from Saved by the Bell for anyone in my generation ;)) went out to dinner at Katsuya on Sunday evening without Eva's husband basketball player Tony Parker. Eva looked casual in a long striped gold top, and jeans tucked into brown knee-high boots. She was carrying an oversized snakeksin bag and wrapped up in a brown striped scarf.

But how would you feel if your wife was out and about on "dates" with her charming ex-boyfriend who is now her "good friend"??! Keep an eye on this one Tony! You know Slater always got the girls!

The annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was held at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre on Thursday, and marked the launch of the Spice Girls new world tour as they took to the catwalk for their first performance together in years. They weren't the only stars there though! In fact, celebs turned out in full force to see the fashion and music extravaganza. Here are some of my favs!

Vicoria's Secret model Heidi Klum, one of their most successful along with Tyra and Giselle, represented on the red carpet with hubby Seal. The couple coordinated in simple, sexy black outfits.

Heidi wore a little black party dress with one sleeve and silver web-like detailing. She kept her jewellery simple and wore pointy black courts.

Hayden Panettiere went bold and daring in an extremely fitted white mini dress with black horizontal stripes. Good job she has the figure for it! She carried a black clutch and, like Heidi, wore pointy black courts.

Audrina Patridge knows what looks good on her and never tries too hard. Instead the reality tv star wore a black mini dress with off the shoulder straps and looked gorgeous. And I guess three is a trend - Audrina was also wearing pointy black courts (as was her co-star Lauren Conrad).

The super stylish Stacy Kiebler posed on the pink carpet in chic, high-waisted, wide-legged, black trousers with a beautifully intricate sequined black and pink top tucked in. She matched her statement top with a cute, metallic pink clutch.

Sporting this season's bow and frill trends on her sparkly little gold dress was Eva Longoria. The high, tied up neckline stopped the mini dress from looking tacky and added a bit of style. I also love her black, platform peep toes which gave the tiny actress a bit of height.

Hey everyone, I've had a busy few days and then I got ill so while I'm recovering I thought I'd try and catch up on some celeb style :)

Firstly we have Eva Longoria looking laidback on Melrose Avenue last Wednesday in the classic boot-cut jeans and a white v-neck top. She gave the simple look celeb style by adding a pair of towering gold wedges, an oversized camel colour bag and cute earrings. And that's how it's done!

Next is The Donald's daughter, Ivanka Trump, looking a lot more stylish than her Dad ever does at The Hunting party in NYC last Wednesday in blue straight leg jeans and a gorgeous green swing jacket with cropped sleeves. This look has been around for a while but I still love it and the colour's great. Not sure about teaming it with a black polo neck though.

Hayden Panettiere has just turned 18 and we seem to be seeing more and more of her! Here she is on the balcony of her hotel last Tuesday looking young and stylish in this cute red trapeze dress and a lovely gold pendant. She looks fresh faced and happy.

And now for the LBD's! First is Paris Hilton looking long and lean in this gorgeous, black, one strap, pencil dress. She looks so chic especially with that skinny black belt around her waist and her black peep toe shoes. Her hair looks so shiny and pretty in this sleek side pony tail and her make-up has bene kept simple with just some black liquid eyeliner. I have to ask though, what's with the white fingerless gloves? Way to ruin an almost perfect outfit!

Also in an LBD last week was Rihanna at the MOBO awards nominees party. If she looks this great just to hear the nominees announced, I can't wait to see what she wears to the actual award ceremony next month!

I love this cute black dress with a corseted strappy top and bubble skirt. Her hair looks great as usual as does her silver eye make-up and although one foot may still be in plaster, the other was looking good in some black strappy heels.

Finally we have Stacey Kiebler looking her usual stylish self, even after a night of clubbing at Hollywood hot spot Les Deux on Friday. She wore a cute little navy dress (so popular right now!) with a trapeze shape (also popular!) which she accessorised with white sandals, long layered necklaces one of which has a really cool hook pendant, a cute chunky white bracelet and a pretty embroidered white bag. Lastly we have Kim Kardashian sporting two different day-time dress looks recently. The first is from last week when she was clothes shopping in Soho with her sister, in a country-girl looking, knee-length, navy, v-neck, dress with cute brown and blue patterns. She wore the dress with black flip-flops for comfort and kept her hair swept back with big hoop earrings to add a little hotness to the outfit.

Then just over a week later, on Wednesday, we have a pic of Kim shopping in L.A. sporting a more glamorous day-time dress look in a satin, strappy, navy blue, floral dress, black peep toe heels, a silver bag and her long hair left down.

I like both looks on Kim. I think the first is cute and stylish while the second is sexy and fun. Which do you prefer, or maybe you hate them both?!

Seventeen magazine celebrated Back-to-School yesterday, and they had their newest cover girl, Ashlee Simpson, on hand to help out and look fab. She wore a really great looking black shirt dress with black leggins and dark red court shoes, as well as a long necklace which completed the look. If only she would lose that ridiculous trilby she would have looked even more amazing!

Here we have Hilary Duff, seen visiting Neil George Salon in Hollywood last week, just an hour after her ex Joel Madden and his pregnant girlfriend Nicole Richie had left, close shave! Next is the beautiful and always lovely Alicia Keys, being very risky in the style stakes at the screening of her new movie The Nanny Diaries in NYC on Monday. She chose a very unusual leopard print, knee length dress and electric blue heels with her curly hair worn half up-half down and dangly gold earrings. I must say, this look won't be everyone's taste but I do love when celebs spice it up style wise and wear something that not many people would try, cos after all, fashion is meant to be fun!

I like it though, it has a very 80s vibe but the dress is also very flattering and Alicia is pretty enough to pull most things off!

Finally we have someone who seems to be very popular with readers of this blog - Vanessa Hudgens! I understand why too, because for someone so young, her taste is impeccable. Here she's pictured outside her hotel room in NYC earlier this month wearing such a beautiful outfit.

The red top is so so pretty and possibly the nicest top I've seen in a while, and the grey skinny jeans and unusual red shoes make the look a little edgier. Her hair is beautiful and glossy, her skin is perfect - damn I'm jealous! Lol.

And finally, saving the best for last! Wow, Wow, Wow! Rihanna looks incredable here at The Beckham's Welcome to L.A. party (what the hell I know :S) in her high waisted, doogtooth, pencil skirt and sequined black vest. The contrast of the sparkly sequins against the tweed is fab, the high waist is so stylish and the fitted style looks great on her figure. I also love her hair off her face and her make-up kept really plain with just very dark eyes. Love, this, look!

Eva Longoria was spotted in St. Tropez yesterday on her way to her Bachelorette Party before she marries fiance Tony Parker. Can't be long til the wedding now then!

Eva chose to wear this seasons yellow and what seem to be left over christmas decorations on her ears.

Ok so I don't like the earrings, but I do love the shoes, and the colour of the dress. She looks fab as usual.

In all white, Eva looks so casual yet stylish. I love white linen trousers, they look great and are comfy. Teamed with a little white vest, high white cork screw wedges to boost her tiny frame and an oversized snake skin bag and oversized shades to add that definate celebrity touch. This outfit is so easy to recreate and will make you stand out in the crowd!
