Following the MTV Movie Awards 2008 on Sunday, the Target and Converse One Star Movie Award After Party was held, and attended by some of the not -so-A list celebrities.

Among them was singer Amerie and reality tv starlet Kim Kardashian who both looked ready to party - but whose style was better??

Amerie was cool as ice in a sky blue blazer, white vest, cropped skinny jeans and the most amazing ice blue panelled heels. Love them! The singer looked so edgy and cool with her oversized shades, hoop earrings and snake print clutch. The ice blue nail polish on her toes may have been a step too far though!

I love how the sleeves of the blazer are turned up in a casual Kate Moss way and her black and gold pendant is lovely.

In stark contrast to Amerie's masculine, funky look, was Kim Kardashian's pretty white dress. She actually looked really beautiful in the floaty dress which is a welcome change from Kim's usual form fitting outfits!

The fitted bodice with a sweetheart neckline combined with black side panels and a flared skirt, is very complimentary to Kims curvacious figure and the sleek updo allows the dress to be shown off as apposed to her usual mass of extensions!

I even love her black wide strapped shoes and black clutch. Wow Kim! I don't know who chose this outfit, but you should always let them dress you!

So whose look was best??

For me at has to be Kim. She is such a beautiful woman but she usually looks cheap in tight dresses that look a size too small and way too much make-up. This is such an improvement! Don't you think??

Rihanna also used the party as an opportunity to show off her new tattoo, a bunch of little stars trailing down her back.

I myself wouldn't want it, but I guess it's kinda creative and different to what most people get done. And at least if she ever grown her hair out again it'll be covered! For now though, I'm loving the funky short hair do.

So many C and D list celebs turned up in their sexiest, attention grabbing, outfits for Details Magazine's Mavericks 2008 Cocktail Party last Thursday.

My best dressed of the night was actress January Jones who looked stylish for Spring in a volumous, high-waisted, floral navy skirt teamed with a classic white vest and white peep toes. So chic!


The queen of curves Kim Kardashian wore another figure hugging dress but I like this strapless, gold one more than her usual ones as it's more structured and holds her in nicely! Luckily she kept everything else simple with a black clutch and black peep toes which stopped the gold from looking cheap.

Wearing an acid yellow one strap dress, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon hit two key Spring trends and looked great! What is that hairstyle about though? You can't wear a sexy, grown-up mini dress with little girl bunches in your hair! Ridiculous!

Also looking lovely was Miss Guided's Brooke Burns in a strapless navy mini dress and trendy bold yellow clutch bag.

The L Word and Life star Sarah Shahi wore the most popular YSL Spring 2008 dress as already seen on Rihanna, Julianne Moore and Gwyneth Paltrow! Personally I don't understand the fuss with this dress. It's not very flattering and it's sooooo boring! Why are so many celebs wearing it? Having said that, Sarah improved the dress slightly by breaking it up with a black waist belt so she gets points for that.

And finally is Maria Menounos wearing a chiffon latte coloured mini dress with black trim around the neck and black tights to match. She looks cute but I'm kind of fed up of seeing this look. It's sooo last season darhling! Haha.

L.A. Fashion Week begun today with a kick-off party hosted by designer Erin Fetherston and attended by model Leelee Sobieski.

Leelee looked beautifully girly in one of Erin's own designs; a short floaty white dress with her signature bird print featured in a subtle grey.

Cassie showed up for the Sean John Fall 2008 Fashion Show at Cipriani's in NYC on Friday looked super sexy in a strapless yellow Herve Leger dress.

Gorgeous reality tv star Chanelle Hayes attended the Club 4 Climate Party in London on Thursday looking very tanned after her recent holiday in the Caribbean.

The ex-Big Brother contestant, who recently dyed her blonde hair dark again to match idol Victoria Beckham, looked sexy in a classic little black dress with corseted bodice which she glammed up with sparkly silver peep toes.

So I had been wondering what Christina Milian's job is lately, and now I know. She's a professional party goer!!

Last week however she wasn't just party going, she was hosting at the Cielo Garden and Supperclub One Year Anniversary Party at Coconut Grove.

The sometimes singer looked cute in a strapless cream mini dress and represented for The Flinstones with her oversized beaded necklace!

Her make-up was great though especially her blush which made her whole face glow!

Khloe Kardashian was absent when the rest of her siblings were partying in Miami without her last week, but it doesn't look like Khloe cares cos she has a new friend!

Khloe hooked up to go clubbing with Hilary Duff at Central Nightclub in L.A. on Saturday. What a random pairing! Khloe's gonna lead good girl Hilary astray!

Hilary still hasn't taken my advice about introducing colour back into her life as she was dressed in all black, but she did have on really cute nude pumps, but she looked good in comparison to Khloe. Maybe that's why she's friends with her?!

Poor Khloe had on a terribly tacky pair of leopard print boots with her boring black leggings and long black top.

Don't start giving each other style tips girls - neither one of you is in a position to offer advice!

Vanessa Hudgens' High School Musical bud, Ashley Tisdale spotted out and about in Beverly Hills at night on December 29th.

The Tiz, as she is affectionatly known, and her new nose, looked stylish wearing a lace burgandy dress with a grey underskirt and a cosy long grey cardigan.

She accessorised with funky grey ankle boots and her favourite Louis Vuitton scarf and handbag.

I love the bold dress with the casual cardigan but all the Louis Vuitton madness spoils it for me and just looks like a tacky display of wealth.

British celeb Jennifer Ellison was out and about Saturday night looking gorgeous and sporting a huge smile!

I saw Jennifer on Loose Women a few weeks ago saying she was nervous to spend her first Christmas alone since her break-up with boyfriend Tony Richardson this past Summer. The couple had dated since she was 18 until he cheated on her with serial mistress Shalimar Wimble (who once once said to have had an affair with England footballer John Terry). He seriously downgraded!

Jennifer seems to have gotten through the holidays just fine though, and her sense of style is improving greatly now she's single!

I'm not too keen on her camouflage dress but her floral black coat is stunning and I also love her vintage looking black suede strappies.

Kristin Cavallari turned 21 yesterday and she celebrated like most of us with a party at celeb hotspot LAX in Vegas. Ok, maybe not like most of us!

In other Kristin news, some of you may have heard the rumours going around that Kristin is to appear in one of my favourite TV shows The Hills. How fab would that be! Kristin has even been quoted as saying "it's a great show" in regards to the reality tv drama starring her most famous enemy, Lauren Conrad. So have the girls kissed and made-up?



With Lauren now "good friends" (and hook-up buddies) with Kristin's ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner and apparently now also hooking up with her childhood friend and Kristin's other ex-boyfriend Stephen Colletti, I highly doubt it! I hope Kristin does turn up on The Hills. It would be the most drama filled season ever! Forget Heidi, Kristin is the original drama queen!

Our very own British singing and dancing sensation Alesha Dixon was looking gorgeous at the wrap party for reality TV show Strictly Come Dancing.

The ex-Mis-teeq singer and (for the non-Brits) dancer from N.E.R.D's "She Wants to Move" video, won Strictly Come Dancing with professional dance partner Matthew Cutler last week and celebrated in a West End nightclub over the weekend.

The stunning singer looked great in a sequined blue backless dress with chiffon tied halter-neck which she wore with sexy silver peep toes, at least for part of the night!

Proving how down-to-earth she is, after posing on the red-carpet Alesha switched her peep toes for some less glamorous but comfy brown Uggs. Bless her!

She's sure shown her smug ex-husband Harvey that she doesn't need his pitty after he cheated on her with her friend, singer and reality TV "star" Javine Hylton. He's clearly not over her cos he can't stop talking about her! I wonder how Javine feels knowing she's carrying the baby of a man who's still in love with his stunning ex-wife? Karma eh?

Paris and Nicky Hilton showed up to party into the new year together at LAX on New Years Eve.

And the ever modest Paris wore a sequined multi-coloured Catherine Malandrino dress from her Resort 2007 Collection, with the words "I love Paris" emblazoned across the front. Hey you know the saying - if you don't love yourself no one will!

The classier Hilton (and I don't just mean her style!), Nicky, went for a simple and clean white Marchesa shift dress teamed with sparkly silver courts and a gorgeous silver snake-style bracelet.

Ashlee Simpson and boyfriend Pete Wentz hosted a New Years Eve Bash at The Shore Club which was attended by fellow stylish celebs Eve and Christina Milian.

Ashlee looked chic in a black and silver mini dress and studded black sandals. I'm not sure what's going on with Pete's stripey beanie hat and braces though, and I'm pretty sure Ash and Pete have the same eyeshadow on!

Eve looked a little boring in her sequined bronze mini dress. I feel like I've seen this look a million times before but maybe it's just Eve's tattoos that make everything she wears look the same!

Finally, Christina Milian, who attended with boyfriend Dre, looked super sexy in a blue fitted Herve Leger dress worn with a studded black cuff bracelet.

Ashlee's subtly sexy look still wins it for me though.

The famous Kardashian siblings, lead by family star Kim K, hosted a New Years Eve party at Mansion to ring in the new year.

It was also a chance for Kim to put the rumours regarding her and Reggie Bush's relationship to rest by finally confirming publically that they are indeed a couple.

But no sooner has one rumour been sorted, another begins. Ok Magazine has been reporting that Kim and Reggie are now engaged!! Give them a chance to be boyfriend and girlfriend for a while first.

Kim's publicist has officially denied the rumour and I'm enclined to believe that divorcee Kim will be taking her time before getting married again. Especially after she was burned so badly by ex-boyfriend Ray-J.

Either way I think they are a cute couple, and it's so sweet to see Rob with his girlfriend Adrienne, they are adorable!! The enormous Khloe might wanna think about getting a taller date next time though so he can at least see over her head, poor guy!

All the girls looked fantastic in their party dresses. Khloe was trendy in a glittery gold bubble Jovani dress (one of sister Kim's hand me downs but who cares?!) while big sis Kourtney wore her favourite colour white but kept it up-to-date with a one shoulder dress.

My favourite outfit goes to Kim though who wore a long fitted Just Cavalli dress in a stiking orange print with studded yellow sandals. The bold dress suits Kim's personality and as usual she's dressed to show off those killer curves! See a similar Just Cavalli dress here!

Despite reports just a couple of days ago that the club may not open at all due to "licensing issues", Jay-Z managed to get his new 40/40 Club in Vegas ready for it's grand opening last night.

There's nothiing you can't pull off with enough money!

It may have been Jay's big night but girlfriend Beyonce stole the spotlight by looking fabulous on the red carpet with younger sister Solange.

Beyonce looked like an ice princess in her silver embroidered dress and fabulous silver sandals. The dress is feminine and sophisticated but very party-appropriate and her natural hair and subtle make-up looked soft and gorgeous.

However, in my opinion, Solange looked even better than Beyonce in a (appropriately) gold outfit. Little sis chose a layered gold mini dress with sequins around the bust which she matched with her nude YSL pumps. This look is so flirty and sexy but the loose chiffon keeps it chic and not cheap!

While both Knowles sisters hit the metallic trend well, gold goes to Solange and Beyonce will have to settle for silver!

Both Christina Aguilera (left) and Halle Berry (right) have their first baby's due in early 2008 but neither star is letting that slow them down or ruin their style!

Christina was out with hubby Jordan Tuesday night celebrating her 27th Birthday in Hollywood. Being heavily pregnant won't keep a girl like Christina away from a party!

Christina's bold, monochrome outfit looked great. She had on a simple white dress, with black tighs and black pumps. She covered up with a gorgeous black and white check swing coat and a cute woollen black hat.

She look's great but the make-up's getting more and more "Drag Queen" everyday - put the shoval down Christina you don't need that much!

The more natural Halle was seen on Tuesday in L.A. carrying a huge Christmas gift basket for her friends and looking very happy.

She was wearing a lose black dress and black tights with flat boots and a cool floral black coat. Simple but chic. I'm not fussed on the strange grey hat though, looks a little tight to me!

Lindsay Lohan went to a party at Byron Williams' Hair Salon in L.A. on Saturday wearing the above outfit - and I liked it for a change.

So I know she still hasn't parted form her beloved leggings, but at least this longer, metallic pair is a bit of a change and she's paired them with a gorgeous long lurex gold top, which I love! The waist belt and casual jacket pull the look together, but I would have swapped the shoe boots for some delicate peep toes!
