For those who don't know, legendary Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld is currently in the UK preparing for his annual Mainson d'Art Show, which is held in a different city every year. The highly anticipated show, Paris-Londres, is going to be held in London later today and is the designer's first ever catwalk show in the city! Ooooo!


Last night however, it was all play and no work as Lagerfeld hosted an exclusive Chanel Dinner Party at Nobu which was attended by a host of big name stars.

Aussie soap stars turned singers, Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia both looked gorgeous in their dresses. Bubbly blonde Kylie wore a pretty and romantic long white dress with peach ribbon whilst brunette Natalie opted for a stylish, one shouldered LBD with lover flower details along the neckline.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson was also at the event wearing a pleated LBD with black tights and a white lace cardi. I like the outfit but the red lippy is a bit much for 17 year old Emma. It looks like she's trying a bit too hard to fit in with the grown-ups!

Other celebs in attendance included (L-R) Kelly Osbourne, Kate Moss, Thandie Newton and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Kelly O looked great in her LBD and black pumps, though I'm still not sold on the Spock like hairdo. Kate set trends and got the fashionistas talking, as usual, in her skinny jeans, black sequined blazer and peep toe shoe boots (like those seen on the Gucci S/S Catwalk!). Thandie looked sleek in a little silver dress an gorgeous black coat and Sophie stood out in her bold orange, satin dress, green shoes and black waist belt. I don't think trying to be fashionable is ever an excuse for an orange dress and green shoes!
